Shannon Boyd serves as Clinic Director and Partner of Peak Physical Therapy in Denison, TX.  He attended the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009.  In 2013, he became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.  Dr. Boyd earned fellow status with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2017 after completion of the Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship at Regis University in Denver, CO.  He also has earned a Certification in Dry Needling through the Dry Needling Institute in 2017.  Dr. Boyd’s background includes training through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine-U.S., North American Institute of Orthopeadic Manual Therapy, and the McKenzie Institute.  He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.  He is heavily involved in advocacy issues at both the federal and state level, with a specific interest in the pursuit of direct access privilege in the State of Texas.  He maintains a heavy desire to provide the highest quality, evidence-informed physical therapy service.
