This 2-day course focuses on advancing skills of dry needling technique and clinical reasoning for implementing the intervention. Participants can expect to be proficient with identification of trigger points and treatment using dry needling of structures not covered in previous DN courses. Safety with dry needling is emphasized with each technique as we instruct DN of structures that are close in proximity to neurovascular bundles and other sensitive structures. Furthermore, evidence based approaches for the use of dry needling will be emphasized, including various types of needle stimulation.
Approved for 16 CE contact hours.
This course is open to PTs only. Prior completion of DN1 and DN2, or other approved previous training in dry needling, is required.
