Certified Hand Therapist

 

Jennifer DeYoung is the program director of BenchMark Rehab Institute’s Hand Therapy Fellowship. She received her Masters of Occupational Therapy degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2002. Jennifer is an active member of the ASHT and AOTA, and is a Certified AOTA Fieldwork Educator, Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator, and a Certified KinesioTaping Practitioner. Jennifer previously served as BenchMark’s Georgia Hand Therapy Coordinator. She has twice served as a board member of the Georgia Hand and Upper Extremity Special Interest Group, and her experience includes serving as a corporate ergonomics evaluator and as a national lecturer on the topic of orthosis fitting/fabrication. Jennifer is primary faculty for BRI’s Orthosis Bootcamp course and several hand fellowship topic modules.
