Hannah Norton, PT, DPT

Dr. Norton earned a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University for Health Professions. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Mississippi University for Women. Dr. Norton is a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Tennessee.
Dr. Norton serves as a part-time clinician with BenchMark Physical Therapy. She was awarded Clinician of the Year in 2011, and is an instructor with BenchMarkPhysical Therapy’s Orthopedic Residency Program. Primary teaching responsibilities include advanced musculoskeletal content, dry needling, manual therapy, and clinical reasoning skills. Dr. Norton is a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT).
Dr. Norton also serves as Assistant Professor and is the Director of Clinical Education with South College. She has over 10 years of professional and clinical experience in physical therapy and has worked extensively with physical therapy interns, residents, and fellows in teaching and clinical settings.
